Ampac Dual Pole Marine 85 Battery

Dual pole marine batteries have two sets of terminals.

The main set provide power to the engine starter motor.

while the secondary set provide power to the wiring loom. It is to here that all the axillary connections are made, such as control panels, on-board lights, etc.

These batteries are also extensively used in camper vans.
